JetztAngeln grew out of the day-to-day work of Sportangelklub Göttingen. We understand volunteer-led clubs first-hand and build the platform with clubs, not around them.

Our story started with one club. It keeps growing with you.
We develop the platform together with clubs and anglers. Real-world feedback helps us prioritize features, simplify workflows, and improve the product step by step.
A practical challenge grew into a platform

Timm Behn is an angler and a member of Sportangelklub Göttingen. When his club needed a digital way to reduce paperwork and make everyday processes clearer, a practical challenge became the starting point for JetztAngeln.

To build the technology, he brought in two friends who work in software engineering. Together they founded JetztAngeln UG in Nörten-Hardenberg and began building a platform from the perspective of a fishing club.

Since then, we have continued developing the product with clubs and anglers. Feedback from club life, questions from app users, and concrete ideas from the community help guide what we build next.
We build JetztAngeln with the fishing community, with one clear goal: less administrative work and more time for the club and the water.

Practical first
We design for real use: wet hands at the bank, QR checks during an inspection, and a dashboard for the treasurer. If it does not help a club in everyday life, it does not belong in the product.
